Wedding Blessing Sunken Garden UWA

A reading was shared at the Blessing Ceremony -a poem written in 1911 by the brides grandfather George Walters
WHEN FIRST I MET THE MAID DIVINE
WITH ROSY CHEEKS AND EYES THAT SHINE
I FELT THAT IN MY HEART I BORE
AFFECTION NEVER KNOWN BEFORE
A LOVE I NEVER KNEW
CONTINUOUS AS THE ROLLING PLAIN
MY LOVE FOR HER COULD NEVER WANE
AS LONG AS MEMORIES LAST.
BY George Walters 1911

Family & Friends shared this magic day with bride and groom. Many had travelled from UK, Indonesia & all over Australia.Reception lunch was @ Mosman's.
